Plans For The Holiday Weekend?

What's everyone up to this weekend?
With Christmas falling on Sunday, I would imagine that most have something planned at some point in time this weekend?
Maybe a little who-ha-ing?
Perhaps some what-nots and doo-dads?
maybe a bit of the snozzberries as part of your holiday feast?

Whatcha upto this holiday weekend?

Well let's see.
Not much happening on christmas eve, although Santa has me on call in case he needs some help. [img]wink.gif[/img]

Christmas morning, over to mom's, gifts, breakfast, very low key but very nice.

Mid day, not too sure.
5:00 BEARS AT PACKERS (GO BEARS!)

Hopefully celebrating the NFC North Division Championship after that! [img]graemlins/thumbs_up.gif[/img] [img]cool.gif[/img]

Supposed to be in the low 70s and sunny tomorrow so I plan to spend the afternoon at the beach, then my brother and I are going to our favorite beach restaurant for pizza. Then home to feed Bandit and then taking him to the Christmas light display at a park we have gone to every Christmas Eve since moving back in 2003. This will be the first time without Rocqui so I didn't even want to go but Bandit enjoys the outing and life goes on...

FYI, don't envy me our weather lately: it has been in the low 40s at night and only in the 50s all week for the highs. Feels like 10* when it goes into the 40s here....

I shall be working 12 hours on Christmas Eve and 12 hours on Christmas Day.

It doesn't really bother me too much because Christmas sucks anyway.

I do get holiday pay in addition to my regular work pay so that will make for a nice check.

Oh, I'll be working New Years Eve and New Years Day. Also no biggie. Have been sleeping through it lately anyway.

Staying home!

Going to church at 4pm today, then we'll let the kids open 1 gift each from the ones already under the tree. They've been bugging us about it ever since they got up at 6am!

After church and gift opening, we're going to bake fresh sugar cookies for Santa, then hopefully to bed early.

Tomorrow a.m., there will be the usual crazy gift opening, then I'm going to make a big breakfast of pancakes, eggs, cinammon rolls, sausage links, fresh OJ and whatever else the kiddies want.

Tomorrow night we'll watch the Bears-Pack game (go PACK, Greg!!) and when that begins to suck, we'll go for a ride and check out the Christmas lights - weather permitting.
